SAN FRANCISCO --In their first preseason game of 2013, the Broncos topped the 49ers 10-6.

Linebacker Shaun Phillips returned a fumble nine yards for a touchdown with 7:26 remaining in the second quarter, the lone touchdown of the game.

Phillips' score came after middle linebacker Nate Irving hit 49ers running back D.J. Harper and forced the fumble.
