AFC West Roundup: Week 10

Both the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders, the top teams in the AFC West through nine weeks, fell in Week 10. The Broncos were upset by the Chiefs at home and the Raiders came up short against the Vikings in the Black Hole. Kansas City and Oakland are now tied for second in the division, with the Broncos maintaining a three-game lead.

Find out how the rest of the AFC West fared in Week 10 here:

Denver Broncos (7-2)

**

Last outing: **L 29-13 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (4-5)

Standouts: With three first-half turnovers, the Broncos struggled mightily on offense, leading to an early deficit. The defense held the Chiefs to field goals when they could, but it couldn't spark the offense. OLB Von Miller had a sack and QB Brock Osweiler threw for a touchdown, but it was too little, too late as the Broncos fell at home.

Up next: The Broncos head to Chicago to face the Bears (4-5) and some old friends.

Kansas City Chiefs (4-5)

**

Here are the top shots from the Broncos' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last outing:** W 29-13 @ Denver Broncos (7-2)

Standouts: This was the Chiefs' best game of the season, by far, as they finally got a win over their hated rivals and on their turf, no less. QB Alex Smith put the nail in the coffin with an 80-yard touchdown pass to RB Charcandrick West to go up 29-0, and the defense forced five interceptions in a dominating win.

Up next: The Chiefs continue their road divisional battle with a trip to San Diego to face the Chargers (2-7), who are coming off a bye.

Oakland Raiders (4-5)

Last outing: L 30-14 vs. Minnesota (7-2)

Standouts: Quarterback Derek Carr continues to show his capability to spread the ball around, racking up 302 passing yards against the Vikings. But his pair of passing touchdowns wasn't enough with the Raiders defense allowing Vikings running back Adrian Peterson to run for over 200 yards.

Next up: The Raiders will take on the Detroit Lions (2-7) on the road following their upset over the Green Bay Packers in Week 10.

San Diego Chargers (2-7)

Last outing: Bye week

Standouts: With a five-game losing streak under their belt, San Diego will look to bounce back in Week 11. As injuries have piled up for the Chargers, the bye week hopefully helped them get a bit healthier.

Next up: The Chargers will return from their bye to welcome AFC West rival, the Kansas City Chiefs (4-5).
