Denver has added a young defender to its active roster for Week 8.

The Utah product has notched 11 tackles, one sack, two quarterback hits, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass defensed in five games this year.

"It's a challenge for us, but I'm excited about it," Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph said Thursday. "If you want to be the best, you've got to beat the best. Hopefully, we put our best foot forward on Sunday."

Tackle Mike McGlinchey (foot/ankle) was listed as a full participant for the second consecutive day.

"He should be in," Payton said. "He's going to get in. He needs to get in sooner than later."

Coach Behrendsen and the Eagles are 8-0 and sit atop CHSAA's 4A classification.
