Happy Thursday, #BroncosCountry –
There are just three days before the Broncos host the Steelers. In the meantime, here are a couple things to get caught up on, starting with a family reunion:
1. Thomas' mother could be present for #PITvsDEN
Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas' mother has been cleared to travel and might be able to make it to Denver this weekend to watch her son play.
His mother, Katina Smith, went to prison when Thomas was 11 and her 18-year sentence for drug trafficking was commuted this past offseason by President Barack Obama. She has spent the past few months at a halfway house in Georgia waiting until she was cleared to travel.
Smith has never seen Thomas play in a football game in person — ever.
"That's what we're working on," Thomas said Wednesday. "Hopefully. That's the goal, though.
"It would mean a lot. It would be her first game. I would be excited. I know she'll be excited. It would mean to see her first game live."

2. Broncos enjoy Nuggets win
The Broncos flocked to Pepsi Center Wednesday night to watch the Denver Nuggets take on the Golden State Warriors.
They must have been good luck because the Nuggets beat the Warriors, 112-110.
3. In case you missed it …
- Manning 'Maddening' in his ability to diagnose defenses
- Kubiak steered Broncos through lots of troubled waters
- A year later, playoff loss a lesson in focus
