The Broncos have landed among Madden NFL 26's elite teams, earning an overall team rating of 87 and the No. 8 spot in EA Sports' latest rankings. With a well-balanced roster that combines proven veterans, rising stars and promising rookies, Denver is expected to make an impact both in the game and on the field this season.

On defense, the Broncos continue to build around one of the league's best cornerbacks. Pat Surtain II headlines the unit as Madden's top-rated cornerback with a 97 overall rating, backed by elite metrics across the board. Surtain boasts notable ratings in awareness (98), play recognition (98), man coverage (98), stamina (96) and zone coverage (97). Behind his leadership, Denver's defense holds a strong overall score of 85, ranking seventh in the league.

Supporting Surtain is linebacker Dre Greenlaw, a new addition who earned an 87 overall rating, placing him as Madden's eighth-ranked off-ball linebacker. His 93 pursuit and 91 awareness make him a force against both the run and pass. Rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron also received recognition, entering Madden 26 as the eighth-ranked rookie with a 78 overall rating.

While the defense sets the tone, Denver's offense has its own strengths, beginning with a dominant offensive line. Leading the way is right guard Quinn Meinerz, who earned a 95 overall rating and the No. 6 rank among all offensive linemen in Madden '26. Meinerz stands out with top-tier ratings in run block finesse (98), run block power (95), and lead block (95), while also adding strength (95), awareness (95) and toughness (92). Left tackle Garett Bolles follows with a strong 89 overall rating, while right tackle Mike McGlinchey earned an 82.

Veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton continues to be a key playmaker, earning an 85 overall with standout marks in spectacular catches (96) and catching in traffic (92). At quarterback, Bo Nix enters year 2 with a 78 overall rating, highlighted by strong traits such as throw power (93), acceleration (90), stamina (90) and toughness (96).
