Matt Paradis signs restricted free agent tender

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** Center Matt Paradis signed his restricted free agent tender Friday. The Broncos placed a second-round tender on Paradis on March 13, meaning that if another team had offered a contract to him and the Broncos opted not to match it, the Broncos would be compensated with a second-round pick.

Paradis has been an invaluable part of the Broncos since he moved into the starting lineup in 2015. In each of the past three seasons, Paradis was the only Bronco to play every possible snap. He has also become one of the league's top centers. In 2016, Pro Football Focus graded him as the second-best player at his position.

The Broncos also placed a second-round tender on outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett in March.
