ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Outside linebacker Von Miller returned to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday after missing the Broncos' Week 13 game with a knee injury.
Miller was inactive on Sunday after being listed as questionable for the game. He had played in 95 consecutive games, including the postseason, before missing Sunday's game.
Head Coach Vic Fangio said earlier this week that Miller had a "good chance" of playing against Houston in Week 14. He then said Wednesday that Miller had "improved."
Guard Ron Leary (concussion), outside linebacker Malik Reed (ankle/shoulder) and safety Will Parks (hand) did not practice Wednesday.
Tackle Ja'Wuan James, who was a full participant in practice last week but did not play against the Chargers, again practiced without limitations.
"I expect that he should be ready to go," Fangio said Wednesday. "How we play him, if we play him, remains to be seen. One of the things is that [G/T] Elijah [Wilkinson] has been playing pretty damn good, too. He's not ready to play an entire game anyways, so we'll figure that out if he's able to play."
James has dealt with a knee injury and has appeared in just two games this season.
Outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu (lower leg), running back Royce Freeman (ribs), linebacker Alexander Johnson (knee) and center Connor McGovern (back) joined Miller as limited participants.
