Injury Report: Noah Fant returns to practice ahead of #DENvsKC

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After missing Wednesday's practice, tight end Noah Fant (hip/foot) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday.

Head Coach Vic Fangio said Wednesday that Fant's outlook after leaving Sunday's game was "positive overall."

Defensive end Adam Gotsis (knee) was also limited after missing Wednesday's practice. Outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu (foot), linebacker Alexander Johnson (knee), outside linebacker Von Miller (knee), nose tackle Mike Purcell (shoulder/knee) and cornerback Isaac Yiadom (shoulder) remained limited.

Miller, who returned to game action against the Texans after missing the team's Week 13 matchup, said his knee is "way better" than it was last week.

"I shouldn't have any problems playing," Miller said. "... I'm back now."

Guard Ron Leary (concussion), defensive Dre'Mont Jones (ankle) and tackle Ja'Wuan James (knee) did not practice for the second consecutive day.

"It's still bothering him a little bit, but we'll see how he does the rest of the week," Fangio said of James on Thursday. "Hopefully he can practice some on Friday."

Three players, meanwhile, suffered injuries on Wednesday and did not practice Thursday.

Linebacker Joe Jones, who was limited in the team's first practice of the week, had his back "tighten up" on Wednesday. Wide receiver Juwann Winfree suffered a "slight hamstring" injury, and defensive end DeMarcus Walker twisted his ankle.
