ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —Inside linebacker Todd Davis remained under evaluation Monday following the Broncos' loss at Tennessee, Head Coach Gary Kubiak said.
Davis left Sunday's game after he suffered an oblique injury, and Kubiak said Davis' injury was his biggest injury concern.
Reserve linebacker Zaire Anderson filled in for Davis in the second half and finished with five tackles.
"[Davis] tried to battle through it," Kubiak said, "but Zaire came in and played really well."
Davis' partner in the starting linebacking corps, Brandon Marshall, also missed Sunday's game. Marshall suffered a hamstring injury against Jacksonville on Dec. 4 and was held out against the Titans after he missed a week of practice.
Kubiak said Marshall would be listed as day-to-day as the Broncos move toward Sunday's matchup with the Patriots.
"He and Todd right now are the concerns as we move forward this week," Kubiak said. "We'll see where we are."
The Broncos escaped from Week 14 with no other injuries of note.
Quarterback Trevor Siemian, who threw the ball 51 times and was sacked three times, fared well in his return from a foot injury he suffered in Week 12 against Kansas City.
"He's good," Kubiak said. "He came out fine. No setbacks or anything. He should be good moving forward."
Siemian finished 35-of-51 for 334 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions against the Titans.
