Inactives announced for Broncos vs. Chargers

DENVER — For the first time since 2013, Von Miller will miss a regular-season game.

Miller, who had played in 95 consecutive contests including postseason games, is among the Broncos' seven inactive players for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Miller missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday and was limited on Friday as he battled a knee injury. The Broncos listed him as questionable for Sunday's game, and Head Coach Vic Fangio said Friday that Miller was "truly 50-50."

The Broncos' outside linebacker worked with the team's training staff on the field ahead of the game, but he will not play in the game.

Tackle Ja'Wuan James is also inactive. He was a full participant in practice this week but was listed as questionable.

Defensive end Shelby Harris, linebacker Josey Jewell, cornerback Duke Dawson Jr. and linebacker Alexander Johnson are all active. The four players were listed as questionable for Sunday but are available to play.
