Fantasy Factor: Bye-week blues?

This week's bye teams could be crushing for those trying to stay in the race for the playoffs, but here are some players to try to help you survive the bye.

The running back position has been picked over. A lot! Kansas City's Charcandrick West was a disappointment last week, but he does appear to be the starter in K.C. Give him another couple weeks before pulling the cord.

Running back Christine Michael appears to be the new guy in Dallas to pair with Matt Cassell at quarterback. That Dallas offense has been tough, but again, at least you're rolling with a likely starter in Michael. The Cowboys should want to run the ball too.

As for future help, it's time to ride with running back Ronnie Hillman. His touches continue to climb, and he is starting to pile up some good points.

Packers running back James Starks may be worth grabbing again as well. He got some nice work last week. Starks first game off bye is Denver, though.

At the wide receiver position, Patriot's Brandon LeFell is set to come off the PUP list. He can be sporadic, but the New England offense is rolling.

Wide out Michael Floyd is starting to put up some points in Arizona. He may have let you down early, but give him a chance if you have a point scorer on bye. The Cards play the Ravens, whose secondary is awful right now.

Steffan Diggs, a kid who had some nice plays against Denver, is another grab for Minnesota. He has had some nice games of late.

Future help could be Davonte Adams, as the Packers continue to fight through injuries in the receiving corps.

The tight end position is tough. I don't know who is left other than those that have disappointed. Ben Watson for New Orleans and Ladarius Green from San Diego are two guys that get targets. Green less now with Gates return, but Rivers loves his tight ends in the red zone.

Derek Carrier for Washington is an option if Jordan Reed is out too. Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins likes the Rivers plan of attack in the red zone as well.

Washington's defense is a good pick if you need to recover some lost points while Denver is on bye, and at the quarterback position Blake Bortles continues to be available, despite continuous production. The Jets' Ryan Fitzpatrick has tossed multiple two-touchdown games this year, and surprise (!) Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has really trended up in recent weeks. All three could help the loss of the Packers' Aaron Rogers for a week.
