ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos made their first round of moves Sunday, trimming the roster size from 88 to 77. The team will need to make two more moves by 2 p.m. MT on Tuesday to reach the league-mandated limit of 75.
The next step with the regular season approaching will be a second wave of moves to get the roster down to 53 players after Thursday's game against the Cowboys. After those are made, the Broncos will fill their 10-man practice squad.
The practice squad was expanded from eight members to 10 just last week and now has slightly altered rules for eligibility.
The players moved off the roster by the Broncos on Sunday are listed below in alphabetical order.
