Broncos' 2025 AFC West slate features early road game, two prime-time matchups

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos will battle at least two of their division foes in prime time in 2025.

Denver's 2025 AFC West schedule is currently highlighted by a pair of "Thursday Night Football" matchups against the Raiders in Week 10 and the Chiefs in Week 17, respectively.

The Broncos have not played two division games in prime time in the same season since 2019, when they also faced the Raiders and Chiefs.

Denver will host the Raiders at Empower Field at Mile High on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6:15 p.m. MT on Prime Video to kick off a two-game home stand before a Week 12 bye week. The matchup will offer the Broncos their first look at the new Raiders, led by head coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Geno Smith.

Later in the season, Denver will play its only road game over the final four weeks of the year as the team visits the Chiefs on Christmas Day. The Broncos will face the Patrick Mahomes-led group at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium at 6:15 p.m. MT on Prime Video.

If the Broncos were to ultimately play a third division game in prime time, it would mark the first time since 2016 that Denver played at least three division games in prime time. The Broncos' Week 18 game vs. the Chargers — like all games in the final weekend of the season — has yet to be scheduled. The Week 18 slate will feature prime-time matchups on both Saturday and Sunday. Denver's home game vs. Kansas City and its road matchup with the Raiders are also within the league's flex scheduling window.

Heading into the season, though, the Broncos are scheduled to meet the Chiefs for the first time in 2025 at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 11 (Sunday, Nov. 16, 2:25 p.m. MT, CBS). The Broncos have won the last two meetings between the two teams at home. Denver's road matchup against the Raiders (Sunday, Dec. 7, 2:05 p.m. MT, CBS) is slated for Week 14.

In addition to a Week 18 matchup against the Chargers, the Broncos will face Los Angeles in Week 3. The game represents the Broncos' earliest matchup with the Chargers since 2017 and the team's earliest division road game since opening on the road against the Oakland Raiders in 2019.

The Broncos posted a 3-3 AFC West record — highlighted by a sweep of the Raiders and playoff-clinching win over the Chiefs — in 2024.
