Though Tebow didn't lead a particularly lengthy or statistically impressive career, he earns placement on this list for his place in team history in creating numerous memorable moments, including perhaps the biggest postseason win between the Broncos' second and third Super Bowl runs. Fans who witnessed his pass to Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime against the Steelers in a wild-card game, will always hold that play close to their hearts.

After serving as a longtime backup to Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler emerged as a key contributor during the Broncos' run to Super Bowl 50 after Manning suffered a foot injury. In his seven starts, he helped the Broncos win five games down the stretch to secure home-field advantage in the playoffs as the AFC's top seed. That included memorable overtime wins over the Patriots and Bengals. Without his play, it's feasible that the Broncos would have had to play at least one playoff game on the road. Considering how narrow the Broncos' playoff wins were, this could have been the difference between a run to the franchise's third championship and a run that left players and fans wondering "What if?"
