Five Key Matchups: Houston
Take a look at five of the key matchups for Sunday's game in Houston.

Like every week, quarterback Peyton Manning's performance against the defending secondary will have a lot to do with the outcome of the game. Manning has thrown 47 touchdown passes this season -- three short of the NFL's single season record. The Texans will be looking to make sure he doesn't set the record in Reliant Stadium.

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has registered 42 quarterback hits this season in addition to his nine and a half sacks and 17 tackles for loss. He lines up at different spots on the line and so each member of the Broncos' offensive line will be tasked with slowing him down.

Offensive Coordinator Adam Gase said Thursday that the Broncos will be looking for more balance between the run and the pass this weekend and a lot of that will involve running back Knowshon Moreno. Moreno leads the team in rushing this season and has 10 touchdowns. Linebacker Joe Mays has been solid for the Texans this season and is third on the team in total tackles with 63.

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is one catch shy of 100 for the season and has racked up 1295 yards and five touchdowns. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and the rest of the Broncos secondary, which is likely to include Champ Bailey returning from injury, will be charged with containing Johnson.

Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas leads the team in catches with 78, receiving yards with 1,194 and touchdowns with 11. Johnathan Joseph leads the Texans with three interceptions and will be looking to add to that total Sunday.
