The Squeeze: Von Miller, Connect Four and dogs

Happy Wednesday, #BroncosCountry –

We hope you're enjoying this lovely day. The Broncos are back and ready to go all in on the Raiders, so here are a couple things to get caught up on:

1. 'You can't beat Von Miller at Connect Four'

Rookie outside linebacker Shane Ray penned a piece for the Player's Tribune this week as part of its "NFL Rookie Diaries" series.

Ray talks about meeting Von Miller for the first time, how dominant Miller is at Connect Four, and also what it's like working under two of the best pass rushers in the NFL.

I'm in the ideal situation. I'm here with probably two of the greatest outside linebackers in the game in Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware. I can ask questions and learn from them every day. That's an advantage most rookies don't have.

Ray also writes about his experiences with the rest of his teammates on defense, and how the rest of the team has treated him since he arrived last spring.

You hear stories around the league about being a rookie and being at the bottom of the totem pole. Coming into our locker room, it's the complete opposite. T.J. Ward, Chris Harris, Aqib Talib — all these guys talk to me and take the time to share their knowledge to help me understand everything. Not just the game, but this whole new lifestyle.

2. Latimer plays catch with Carson

Wide receiver Cody Latimer has talked a lot in the past few weeks about his friend Carson, a patient at Children's Hospital of Colorado. Carson is still working in physical therapy to learn how to walk again and Latimer made a visit on Tuesday to see how his progress is going.

Based off Latimer's video below, things are looking great for Carson!

3. A dog's day in the Osweiler household

Quarterback Brock Osweiler spent his day off on Tuesday studying film – his pups had another idea:
