Good morning, #BroncosCountry –
Happy hump day! We hope you're enjoying this Wednesday morning. The Broncos return to the UCHealth Training Center today to start preparations for Minnesota this weekend. In the meantime, here are three things to get caught up on, starting with Demaryius Thomas:
1. Thomas a top-tier wide receiver
In his weekly position rankings, Chris Wesseling of NFL.com named wide receiver Demaryius Thomas a top-tier wide out in the NFL.
Thomas ranks No. 6 on Wesseling's list ahead of Cowboys' wide receiver Dez Bryant and behind Atlanta's Julio Jones, Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown, the Giant's Odell Beckham Jr., Detroit's Calvin Johnson and Cincinnati's A.J. Green.
Wesseling's rankings are based on stats, film, clips, advanced metrics and quotes from coaches and teammates.
See the full list here.
2. Caldwell's little astronaut
In other galactic news: Mars may have water, but wide receiver Andre Caldwell's daughter in an astronaut suit wins the day.
3. In case you missed it…
- Broncos David Bruton wants to make jump from special teams ace to just 'special'
- NFL sets record for most penalties in league history through Week 3
- Heroes & Villains: Dalton shines, Fox fumbles
