Happy Thursday, #BroncosCountry –
We hope you're enjoying this lovely day. There are just a couple of days remain before the Broncos jet off for San Diego to take on the Chargers, so in the meantime here are a couple things to get caught up on, starting with the second coming of the Orange Crush:
1. Top five NFL defenses
Pro Football Focus broke down the top five NFL defenses with the best grades thus far this season.
PFF's No. 1 defense? The Broncos.
This isn't surprising considering Denver leads the NFL in total defense, pass defense and sacks, and rank among the leaders in nearly every significant defensive category.
"I think they are definitely the best defense in the NFL right now," said senior analyst Nathan Jahnke. "I think some of the teams that you listed have bigger superstars, I think the Broncos have fewer weaknesses. They are strong across the board on that defense."
No. 2 is the St. Louis Rams followed by the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 3.

2. Latimer's big day
BroncosCountry grew by one Wednesday when wide receiver Cody Latimer welcomed the birth of a baby boy, Jacolby.
Latimer's buddy Carson has also been making strides in his physical therapy, and on Thursday Carson's mom tweeted him walking while wearing Latimer's jersey proudly.
