After the Competition Committee made a rules change at the League Meetings in Phoenix this week forbidding leaping over players on field goals, we won't ever again see a play like Justin Simmons' jump over the Saints' line to block a potentially game-winning extra point and Will Parks' scoop and score to win the game — perhaps the Broncos' most thrilling play of the season. Simmons took a moment Tuesday to remember the short-lived life of his memorable play.
3. #BeBoldForChange The U.S. women's national hockey team recently announced that they would boycott the IIHF World Championships unless they received a resolution to the negotiations over fair wages and support from USA Hockey. After a nearly two-week protest that garnered international support, the two sides reached an agreement Tuesday night, so the team — which includes Michael Schofield's fiancée, Kendall Coyne — will compete in the 2017 World Championships.
