The Squeeze: Remembering Tony Sparano

Remembering Tony Sparano

The NFL was stunned Sunday by the announcement that longtime coach Tony Sparano died unexpectedly at the age of 56. Sparano, who coached in the NFL for 19 years, was on the opposite sideline whenever his teams played the Broncos, but he maintained connections to a couple of players on the team who played for him during his time with the Raiders as an assistant head coach, offensive line coach and interim head coach from 2013-14.

Meet Coach Herman

Emmanuel Sanders recently went undercover to shock student-athletes on Skyline High School's football team with not only $5,000 for more sports equipment but also to provide some hands-on football instruction — but his alter ego, Herman Jones, is an old-school coach with old-school ways.
