Happy Wednesday, #BroncosCountry –
We hope you're enjoying your week so far. Here are a couple things to get caught up on, starting with our favorite dancer:
1. Phillips earns MMQB award
No surprise here, but Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips has earned The MMQB's Assistant Coach of the Year Award.
The MMQB's Awards are voted on by a variety of current and former NFL players, analytic folks, the site's staff and even singer John Legend.
Phillips received 7 first-place votes for 91 points in a tight race with Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson's six first-place votes (70 points) and Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula five (64 points).
