The Squeeze: Post game celebrations, John Elway and ball deflation

Good afternoon, #BroncosCountry –

We hope you're still enjoying that post-win feeling today. The Broncos are 6-0 and will look to enjoy a couple days of practice during the bye week before their break. In the meantime, here are three things to get caught up on, starting with that 6-0 feeling:

1. That post-win feeling

There's really no better feeling than waking up the day after a win:

2. Elway on ball inflation

Considering that John Elway has played in 256 games in his career and has thrown 7,901 passes, he should know a thing or two about how a football feels in his hands.

MMQB's Peter King spoke with Elway about the difference following the scandal in New England. Elway was curious and had the Broncos equipment staff inflate footballs to 13 psi, and 12 psi, and 11 psi in order for him to test them. The verdict?

I mean, it's not that big a difference. It's hard to tell the difference. Not a big enough difference to have the attention on this that it's gotten. What I come down to is, does it really matter? Some guys like the ball a little softer. And if a guy likes a harder ball, that's fine too. We want the quarterbacks to be as successful as they can be, and we want them to give the fans the best entertainment they can. Who cares if a quarterback likes it at 10 and a half? If that makes him play better, fine.
