The Squeeze: PFF top performers and National Coffee Day

Good morning, #BroncosCountry –

Happy Tuesday! The Broncos are one of seven teams in the NFL that remains a perfect 3-0, but there's still a lot of football to be played and the Minnesota Vikings (2-1) are next up. The players have Tuesday off before preparation starts, so in the meantime here are three things to get caught up on, starting with Pro Football Focus:

1. Top performers from Broncos-Lions according to PFF

The Broncos left the Motor City Sunday night with a win, a perfect 3-0 record and three turnovers thanks to a stifling defense.

Pro Football Focus broke down the game and picked their top five Broncos performers:

ED Von Miller ( 6.4)
CB Bradley Roby ( 3.7)
QB Peyton Manning ( 2.4)
S T.J. Ward ( 2.0)
RT Ryan Harris ( 1.8)

There are times in games, and even entire games, where Von Miller ( 6.4) is simply unblockable and last night was one of those games, with LaAdrian Waddle (-9.5) serving as his unfortunate victim. Miller's blend of physicality and athleticism were in full view, with his dip move particularly devastating, as he seemed to be able to get to and turn the corner on Waddle to pressure Stafford at will.

Miller's 6.4 ties with the Ravens' Elvis Dumervil for top edge rusher performance and Roby turned in the best outing by a cornerback in the NFL.

You can find even more analysis of the game here.

2. Happy National Coffee Day!
