Good afternoon, #BroncosCountry –
Happy Friday! There are only two more days until the Broncos take on the Raiders in Oakland. In the meantime, here are three storylines to catch up on, starting with the 1998 NFL draft class:
1. Manning talks 1998 NFL draft class
Peyton Manning made his weekly appearance on 850KOA and talked about the upcoming matchup against the Raiders.
Manning also talked about fellow 1998 draftees Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and Oakland safety Charles Woodson, each of whom started last week.
"It's good that there's still a few of us left from the class of '98 draft," Manning said. "I saw Matt Hasselbeck started last week for the Colts. Three guys from the '98 draft all started last week. That's good, that's a good thing. Obviously, real credit to Woodson. He's been able to keep himself in great shape, healthy, to be able to be in shape to still be playing safety and making a lot of plays."
