The Squeeze: Peyton, legacies and postgame reactions

Good morning, #BroncosCountry –

The preseason has officially come to a close and now we are just a little over a week away from the start of the regular season. Who's ready? We are – but while you wait, here are three things to get caught up on.

1. Do you know a Peyton?

According to the Indy Star's Kyle Neddenriep, there's a chance that you might know a Peyton named after Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning – and if you live in Indiana, the odds are even better.

With one look at high school football roster in Indiana, chances are you'll find a Peyton. Because when current high schoolers were born, the Indianapolis Colts selected Manning in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft.

The name Peyton for a boy peaked in 2006, according to socialsecurity.gov, ranking 65th in Indiana.

2. Players react to final preseason game

While the result may not have been what the Broncos wanted, many players shined in Denver's preseason finale – then they took to social media:

OLB Shane Ray learns from the best

Always a honor to play and learn from @demarcusware. Truly excited for this season
