The Squeeze: How the Broncos spent Memorial Day weekend

1. Memorial Day weekend

The Broncos enjoyed their time off Monday, but they also reflected on the reason for the holiday. Many took time to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

2. Father/son fishing trip

Trevor Siemian spent his long weekend fishing with his father, Walt, back home in Florida.

Awesome time back in Florida with my folks. Nice fish for the big man here!

3. Purchase of a lifetime

Second-round pick DeMarcus Walker used his signing bonus to do something he promised his mom a long time ago. The defensive end surprised his mother with a new house in Duval County, Florida. He also spent a little on himself and bought a new puppy, Spanky!

4. Rookie bonding

Some of the other rookies, including fifth-round pick Jake Butt, were treated to a Rockies game Saturday night.
