Good morning, #BroncosCountry! The Broncos got a day to relax to begin their weekend before heading into this week's preparation for the season opener against Baltimore. Here are three things to catch up on, beginning with college allegiances:
1. College gameday memories
College football's season kicked off in earnest on Saturday, and some Broncos were even on hand to watch their alma maters in action.
But for those who couldn't make the trip out, the memories of days in their college uniforms sufficed.
To cap it off, we have to recognize Brandon McManus' Temple Owls beating Penn State for the first time in 74 years.
2. Broncos Health & Wellness Expo begins
Broncos players, cheerleaders and Miles were all on hand to welcome fans and guests to the inaugural Broncos Health & Wellness Expo at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, which continues through Sunday. Booths for screenings, tests, player autographs, activity stations and more are all there and it's free! But first here's a tast of what went on Saturday:
3. In case you missed it...
- Shaquil Barrett and his wife are happy to see their perseverance pay off.
- Emmanuel Sanders will be used as Broncos' punt returner.
- Nine months after ACL surgery, Trevor Siemian makes the Broncos' roster.
