2. Three reasons the Broncos can beat the Steelers
There's a multitude of reasons the Broncos could beat the Steelers this Sunday (starting with #BroncosCountry in the stands), but ESPN's Jeff Legwold broke down three ways the Broncos top the Steelers.
Starting with the Broncos defense:
The Broncos entered the 2013 postseason as the highest-scoring team in league history after their 606-point output, but they lost the Super Bowl by 35 points on a day when the offense never really found its balance. This Broncos team has been fueled by defense all season, having finished the regular season No. 1 in total defense, No. 1 in pass defense, No. 1 in sacks, No. 1 in fewest yards allowed per play, No. 1 in fewest yards allowed per rush, No. 1 in fewest yards allowed per pass, No. 3 in run defense and No. 4 in scoring defense.
