Happy Wednesday, #BroncosCountry –
It's back to work for the Broncos today, so when you get a chance get caught up on the most recent buzz, start with some pigskin prep:
1. 'Wayback Wednesday'
It might not be "Throwback Thursday," but we're going to call this "Wayback Wednesday," thanks to the Denver Post's Nicki Jhabvala.
Jhabvala unearthed some old recruiting tapes from when the Broncos were just youngin's in high school hoping a college coach would see their tape and offer them a scholarship. Thanks to YouTube, you can watch highlights from running backs C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, tight end Vernon Davis (who used to play six positions!) and wide receiver Bennie Fowler.
But our favorite was outside linebacker Von Miller's tape, which is just compilation of him laying out quarterbacks.
And wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders' highlights are a little interesting considering we never knew he could rap so well!
See more high school tapes here.
2. Broncos enjoy family time
With their day off, the Broncos spent some quality time with their families before preparation for the Chargers officially begins.
Guard Evan Mathis took holiday shots with his family:
Tight end Vernon Davis posted an adorable shot of his son and his French Bulldog:
Wide receiver Jordan Norwood spent time with his newborn daughter, Franni:
