Darren Rovell sent out a tweet Wednesday that many Broncos fans will enjoy. After John Elway and Stanford defeated No. 2 Washington 43-31 in 1982, the future Denver quarterback earned his first Sports Illustrated cover. Less than a year later, Elway would don the orange and blue for the first time.

2. My Cause My Cleats

As the Broncos continue to get closer to their My Cause My Cleats game against the Miami Dolphins, Denver's players continue to expand on their selected causes. Von Miller is just one of the athletes who will participate in this year's event.

3. An award-winning speech

Longsnapper Casey Kreiter spoke Wednesday evening at the Colorado Technology Association APEX Awards. Kreiter, a former high school science teacher, shared the importance of STEM education from an educator's perspective.

4. A special screening

Kicker Brandon McManus joined guests from Children's Hospital Colorado and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver for an advance screening of "Wonder." The movie shares the story of August Pullman, a boy who was born with facial differences and is now entering elementary school.
