Broncos Injury Report: Rest days for key veterans

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Running back Jamaal Charles, nose tackle Domata Peko Sr. and cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Bradley Roby were on the practice field Wednesday, but did not wear helmets as the Broncos began their on-field preparations for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Charles and Talib have received veterans' rest days on previous Wednesdays; Peko joined them. Roby sat out because of an ankle injury that caused him to miss practice last Wednesday.

Rookie cornerback Brendan Langley returned to practice on a limited basis after missing the last two weeks due to a sprained knee. Quarterback Paxton Lynch remained out because of a sprained right shoulder.

"Obviously, it's a throwing shoulder, so we want to make sure he's 100 percent healthy before we bring him back to the field, so I'm not sure [when he will return]," Head Coach Vance Joseph said. "But he is rehabbing hard and he is getting better every day."
