ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Tackle Jared Veldheer (knee) will miss Sunday's game against the Jets as he recovers from a bone bruise, Head Coach Vance Joseph announced Friday.

On the team's final practice report of the week, punter Marquette King (thigh) is listed as doubtful to play, while linebacker Todd Davis (shoulder) and Adam Gotsis (knee) are questionable for the game. King did not participate in Friday's practice. Davis and Gotsis were both limited.

If King is unable to play, the Broncos must make a roster move to elevate Colby Wadman to the active roster. He is currently on the practice squad.

"Obviously we've got to make a roster move to get him up," Joseph said Friday, "so I'll get with John today and we'll figure it out, but he's the next option and I'm very comfortable with him if he has to play."

Joseph is also comfortable playing tackle Billy Turner in place of Veldheer. Turner may need to hold down that spot until further notice, as Joseph did not provide any update on Veldheer beyond this week's game.

"We'll see," Joseph said. "We play Sunday, and then we have a week and we'll play again the next Sunday. So we'll see next week."
