Injury Report: Three Broncos questionable with illness

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Three Broncos are listed as questionable as they battle an illness that has impacted several players in the locker room.

Guard Dalton Risner, tight end Noah Fant and defensive lineman Kyle Peko "have had it probably the worst," Head Coach Vic Fangio said Friday. All three players are listed as questionable.

Risner did not practice Wednesday or Friday, while Peko missed practice on Thursday and was limited Friday. Fangio said Fant was not expected to practice, but the rookie tight end participated in a limited capacity on Friday. Fant is also dealing with a shoulder injury.

If Risner cannot play, Patrick Morris would start at left guard, per Fangio.

Quarterback Drew Lock, center Connor McGovern and guard Austin Schlottmann were added to the injury report on Friday with an illness, but all three players were full participants in practice.

Guard Ron Leary (concussion), tackle Ja'Wuan James (knee) and defensive end Adam Gotsis (knee) were ruled out.

Defensive ends DeMarcus Walker and Dre'Mont Jones are questionable with ankle injuries.
