Broncos work out 11 players, including RBs Daniel Thomas, Trent Richardson

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --The Broncos' weekly tryouts in advance of the end of the regular season continued with 11 players working out at the UCHealth Training Center, a group headlined by 2012 first-round pick Trent Richardson and former Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas.

Richardson and Thomas worked out as the Broncos continue evaluating players for potential addition to the offseason roster, which has a 90-man limit.

Richardson, who gained 2,944 yards from scrimmage in his three seasons with the Browns and Colts, last played for the Raiders, with whom he spent this year's preseason before being waived.

Thomas played 52 games for the Dolphins from 2011-14, gaining 1,892 yards from scrimmage and scoring 13 touchdowns. He was on the Bears' preseason roster this summer.

Richardson and Thomas were not the only tryout participants with extensive regular-season experience.

Former Raiders and Bills wide receiver Denarius Moore was on hand; he caught 142 passes for 2,169 yards for the Raiders from 2011-14 before spending six games with the Bills this year.

Ex-Browns and Bengals wide receiver Greg Little also had a workout. Little caught 161 passes for 1,890 yards from 2011-14 with the Browns and Bengals before being released earlier this year.

RB Cyrus Gray, who played there years for the Chiefs, saw action in 35 games from 2012-14. QB Ryan Lindley started six regular-season games and a playoff game for Arizona from 2012-14. WR Jernell Jernigan played 34 games from 2011-14 and caught 38 passes for the New York Giants in that span.

Former Houston Texans WR Devier Posey was also at the tryout; he played two seasons in Houston under Gary Kubiak after being a third-round pick in 2012.

The most familiar player among the invitees to local fans is TE Nick Kasa, who played the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Raiders before being waived. The CU product was a sixth-round pick of Oakland in 2013.
