ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --The Broncos waived defensive end George Uko on Wednesday.

Uko was on the Broncos' practice squad last year, joining the team on Sep. 7. He spent the entire season there, and signed a reserve-future contract after Super Bowl 50.

The decision to waive Uko comes six days after the Broncos signed free-agent defensive end Jared Crick from Houston.
