Broncos re-sign Ryan Murphy to practice squad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Safety Ryan Murphy returned to the Broncos' practice squad Wednesday.

The Broncos brought back the Oregon State product, signing him to fill the vacancy created when cornerback Taurean Nixon was promoted to the 53-man roster last Saturday.

Murphy spent three months on the Broncos' practice squad last season and 19 days on it in September before being released Sept. 22. He was also on the roster during the 2016 preseason.
