Broncos Injury Update: Ty Sambrailo continues to work

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- **OLBs Von Miller and Shane Ray were the only Broncos not practicing as the Broncos continued preparations for Sunday's showdown with the undefeated Packers.

Miller was excused from practice to attend a family funeral in Texas. Ray remains sidelined because of a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

Thursday's practice was particularly crucial for LT Ty Sambrailo, who is returning from a shoulder injury suffered Sept. 27 at Detroit.

Sambrailo was officially listed as having limited participation, but saw work throughout all periods of practice, Head Coach Gary Kubiak noted.

"I'm watching a lot of things, so I need to go back and really watch the practice, but he seems to be doing okay," Kubiak said. "I think that we just have to evaluate where his strength is and how he's doing, so we'll see."

OLB DeMarcus Ware (back), LG Evan Mathis (hamstring), CB Aqib Talib (ankle) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (shoulder) were also limited at Thursday's practice.

Ware has practiced all week and said he had "some limitations" Wednesday, but not Thursday.

"It was just going into this week, but I'm good. I feel good. I'm ready for this game," Ware said. "I'm glad that we had a bye week so that I could recover all the way."

Kubiak said that Omar Bolden and David Bruton Jr. also worked on punt returns Thursday, but the coach expects Sanders to be able to handle that aspect of his responsibilities, as well as his work on offense.

"It's a concern, but he's been fine," Kubiak said. "He's tough. He's still out here. I'm looking out here and there are two players out here. He's one of them. That's the way that he works, so I trust him. I think that he'll be fine."
