Broncos Injury Update: Emmanuel Sanders returns; Vance Walker, Antonio Smith still out

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --WR Emmanuel Sanders was back at practice Friday, but defensive linemen Antonio Smith and Vance Walker remained sidelined as the Broncos concluded on-field preparations for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

All are listed as questionable for the Week 11 showdown.

Sanders did not practice Wednesday and Thursday because of an ankle injury, but Head Coach Gary Kubiak had said he expected Sanders to take part once the Broncos were back outside after two days working on the artificial turf inside the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse.

"Emmanuel did a little bit," Kubiak said. "It's a cold, windy day. He came out and got going. We did some other periods, defensive periods, and he stiffened up a little bit, so we took him out the rest of practice.

I think he has a chance. We'll see where he is [Saturday] and see how he does before the game."

Smith and Walker have not practiced all week because of hip and shoulder injuries, receptively. Kubiak had hoped that Smith would be able to practice Thursday.

"They'll both be game-time decisions," Kubiak said. "I think they both have a chance, but we'll work them out on Sunday morning and see."

QB Peyton Manning (shoulder/rib cage/foot) and OLB DeMarcus Ware (back) also did not practice. Neither will travel to Chicago, Kubiak announced.
