Broncos Injury Update

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --In addition to the foot injury that kept him out of practice Wednesday, QB Peyton Manning has a rib-cage injury, which was added to the injury report Saturday morning.

Manning's status for Sunday is unchanged after practicing on a limited basis Thursday and Friday, when Head Coach Kubiak noted that he "practiced well."

He is still considered probable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Manning's injuries are not the only ones that will bear monitoring before Sunday's game. WR Emmanuel Sanders is questionable with an ankle injury suffered on the first play last Sunday. Sanders did not practice this week and will be a "game-time decision," Kubiak said Friday.

OLB DeMarcus Ware was ruled out because of a back injury. In addition to Manning, eight other players are listed as probable, including rookie OLB Shane Ray, who is expected to return after missing two games because of a sprained medial collateral ligament.
