Broncos Injury Report: Brendan Langley clears concussion protocol

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Only wide receiver Andre Holmes (ankle) and Phillip Lindsay (wrist) did not take part in the Broncos' Thursday practice, as cornerback Brendan Langley was a full participant after clearing concussion protocol.

Holmes has yet to practice since suffering a high-ankle sprain against the Raiders on Monday night.

Head Coach Vance Joseph announced Lindsay’s season was over on Wednesday after receiving news that the rookie running back's wrist needs surgery and three-to-four months of rehab, but Lindsay remains on the active roster as the team contemplates potential roster moves.

"It's possible," said Joseph on Thursday of whether the team may place Lindsay on injured reserve to add another player. "We've got some options on the roster. So we'll see how the week goes."

Langley, who suffered the concussion late in the first quarter of the Broncos' Week 15 game against the Browns, will return to his usual role, Joseph said.

"He passed the protocol this morning and is all ready to go," Joseph said.

Tight end Matt LaCosse was the only player listed as limited as he continues to recover from an ankle injury that sidelined him for Monday's game against the Raiders. He was also a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Inside linebacker Brandon Marshall (knee) and cornerback Isaac Yiadom (shoulder) joined Langley as players listed on the injury report as full participants.
