ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --The Broncos made another practice-squad move Tuesday, signing former Oregon State safety Ryan Murphy.

To make room for Murphy, the Broncos released NT Deandre Coleman, who joined the practice squad on Sept. 22.

The 6-foot, 214-pound Murphy was the 248th pick in this year's draft by the Seattle Seahawks, but was waived at the Sept. 5 cut to 53 players. He started 39 games at Oregon State, intercepting seven passes and adding 1.5 sacks.

The Oakland native also has some kickoff-return experience; he averaged 22.7 yards on 13 returns last year for the Beavers, punctuated by a 97-yard return for a touchdown against USC.
