2025 Access to Career Pathway Grant Recipients

AdvanceEDU: AdvanceEDU is helping Coloradans who want to earn a career-relevant degree and start a meaningful career do so affordably with personalized coaching, academic support, and career connections from a team focused on helping students succeed. Funding to support Success Coach programming and goals related to program persistence and completion.

African American Trade Association: African American Trade Association's comprehensive workforce programs blend academic support, hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and wraparound services to prepare underserved individuals for meaningful careers. Funding to underwrite a Denver Broncos pre-apprenticeship cohort for the 2025-26 school year.

Aurora Public Schools Foundation: The Aurora Public Schools Foundation provides supplemental funding and resources to support possibility becoming reality for every Aurora Public Schools student. Funding to support expanded work-based learning opportunities for through the addition of a College and Career Center Secondary Pathway Specialist with Gateway High School, Aurora Hills Middle School and Mosely P-8 School students.

CareerWise Colorado: CareerWise Colorado's youth apprentices split time between high school classrooms and the workplace, earning a wage while receiving hands-on work-based learning experiences and industry certifications. Funding to underwrite the expansion of the Business Essentials course to include an Artificial Intelligence (AI) training component.

College Track: College Track works to support predominantly first-generation scholars in various phases of their academic and professional journey from 9th grade through and beyond college graduation. Funding to support Colorado scholars in the College Thrive phase as they matriculate to college and persist to earn a bachelor's degree.

Construction Education Foundation: The Construction Education Foundation (CEF) creates equitable access to hands-on learning, industry-recognized credentials, and mentorship by delivering high-quality construction education in Title 1 schools. Funding to support programming at Abraham Lincoln High School focused on industry-recognized certification attainment and a bilingual Student Pathways Coordinator.

Denver Scholarship Foundation: Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) is a nonprofit helping to make college possible and building the educational and economic future of Denver by collaborating with Denver Public Schools high school students, families, and partners. Funding to increase the number of students served and college enrollment rate at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College Future Center through an additional DSF Scholarship Advisor.

Dress for Success Denver: Dress for Success empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Funding to support growth of Butterfly Bus site program with visits to local high schools, colleges and organizations to increase young women's access to career readiness programming.

Emily Griffith Foundation: Emily Griffith Foundation provides educational and charitable funding for the support of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and programs of Emily Griffith Technical College, whose mission is to prepare students for today's workforce and tomorrow's opportunities. Funding to increase college access and remove barriers to persisting in and completing education through Essentials & Emergencies Fund stipends.

Girls Inc. of Metro Denver: Girls Inc. of Metro Denver's Career and College Success program provides year-round academic support and programing focused on college and career exploration, planning and successful transitions, with the goal of helping girls learn skills to be healthy, independent, and successful adults. Funding to enhance out-of-state college tours focused on HBCUs and HSIs and expand externship program through new business and entrepreneurship pathway.

Junior Achievement: Junior Achievement believes any young people can succeed with the right tools and works to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. Funding to support career exploration programming for students working to identify a career that pays a living wage and is fulfilling.

Mile High United Way: Mile High United Way's Bridging the Gap is a program serving young adults experiencing homelessness, the majority of whom have transitioned out of the child welfare system. Funding to provide programmatic support via direct-to-client assistance and wraparound services and create a dedicated program services center.

Mile High Youth Corps: Mile High Youth Corps connects young adults with opportunities to earn while they learn and develop skills in meaningful career pathways. Funding to sustain the High School Equivalency Education Instructor position to support credential attainment and additional postsecondary readiness training.

Minds Matter Colorado: Minds Matter Colorado connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world. Funding to expand access to College Access Mentoring Program, ensuring more youth will have access to a four-year college degree.

The Urban Farm: The Urban Farm provides the opportunity for urban youth to engage and participate in local food and agricultural systems by removing the barriers to entry. Funding to support Helping Youth Pursue Excellence (HYPE) programming for justice-involved and at-risk youth.

Young Americans Center for Financial Education: Young Americans Center for Financial Education's Young AmeriTowne is an immersive, hands-on program that instills crucial financial skills and workplace readiness aptitudes as students grow competencies in money management, economics, civics, ethics and philanthropy and develop positive financial habits, attitudes and sense of self-worth. Funding to support Send-A-School program to ensure low-income schools and students can access Young AmeriTowne programming and field trip.
