Social Distancing

Social Distancing

You are required to follow all six-foot social distancing markers that will be displayed throughout common areas inside and outside Empower Field at Mile High. These markers will help you line up for security screening, restrooms, shops and concessions.

Tailgating will not be permitted in any form in the parking lots. Fans who park on-site will be asked to not congregate in the parking lots.

Directional Signage

Directional Signage

We are working to reduce congestion when entering and exiting Empower Field at Mile High. Assigned entry gates will be based on your seat location. With social distancing in effect, fans are asked to provide extra time to go through the security screening process.

Follow all posted signage to help maintain physical distancing. Be smart and continue to abide by physical distancing markers that appear in elevators and on escalators.

Face Coverings

Face Coverings

Face coverings will be mandatory for anyone in-stadium (fans and staff) and must be worn at all times (other than while actively eating or drinking), including during security screening. Wearing a face covering not only helps to protect you but also other patrons.

First Aid

First Aid

If you're in the stadium and begin to feel ill, you should find help immediately. The stadium's on-site medical team will be fully prepared to treat you on-site and provide you with personal protective equipment (PPE), if necessary.

If you feel ill at any point before leaving or on your way to the stadium, showing any COVID-19 symptoms or have come in close contact with anyone confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you please be a good teammate and stay home.

Pod Seating

Pod Seating

Game tickets will be distributed in "pods" and Season Ticket Members will have the ability to purchase as many as four seats in the same pod through the online process.

Sections will be separated into 30 groups to limit exposure between fans with each defined area assigned restrooms and concessions.

Signage will be clearly displayed, reinforcing social distancing guidelines and the prohibition of congregating in groups within the concourses or seating bowl. To maintain pod integrity, fans will be required to attend the game with known guests or transfer the allotment as a single unit or to a family member/friend attending the game within the pod.

Proximity to Players and Each Other

No autographs will be permitted due to NFL COVID-19 protocols.

Cashless Payments and Mobile Ticketing

Cashless Payments and Mobile Ticketing

Empower Field at Mile High will be as touchless as possible from the entry process to restrooms to concessions.

The stadium is now a cashless venue. Payment options through mobile devices (ex: Apple Pay) and traditional scan/chip options for credit/debit cards at all points of sale will be implemented.

Mobile ordering will also be expanded this season.

Aramark debuted several self-service kiosks last season, and recently installed additional point-of-sale touchless concession options throughout the stadium.

Empower Field at Mile High is entirely mobile-friendly and transitioned to mobile ticketing fully ahead of the 2018 season. The stadium is one of the most WiFi connected in all of sports.

Doing our part

Empower Field at Mile High has implemented several health and sanitation practices following guidelines from the State of Colorado, City of Denver, NFL and health officials. Empower Field at Mile High and the stadium staff will also be playing their part by implementing a few additional safety measures.
Health and Sanitation

Health and Sanitation

In addition to frequent disinfecting and cleaning of high-touch surfaces with EPA-registered products, the stadium has taken the following steps to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses:

  • Transformation of all bathrooms to entirely touchless systems, including toilets, sinks and paper towel dispensers.
  • Installation of UV-C lights under escalators in order to reduce or eliminate bacteria on widely used handrails.
  • Addition of bipolar ionization in the stadium's HVAC system, which is expected to both lower the risk of disease transfer and eliminate allergens.
  • Placement of 800 hand sanitizer stations—both stand-alone and wall-mounted units—for fans to utilize throughout the stadium.
Face Coverings and PPE

Face Coverings and PPE

All staff working on game days will go through a health screening (questionnaire and temperature check) and be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

For those staff who work in concessions or handle any "high touch" surfaces, gloves will also be required.

All staff and stadium employees will have their temperature taken before entering the building. Any temperature above 100.4⁰F will be flagged, and that employee will be sent home.

Colorado Exposure Notifications

Colorado Exposure Notifications

One of the key tools to fight COVID-19 and slow its spread is right in your pocket. CO Exposure Notifications is a free and voluntary service developed in partnership with Google and Apple that can notify users of possible exposure to COVID-19.
