Good morning, #BroncosCountry –
Tomorrow is game day! Are you going to be at Sports Authority Field tomorrow night to cheer on the Broncos when they take on the Arizona Cardinals? In the meantime, here are three things to get caught up on.
1. Broncos boast top-five 2015 roster in NFL
ESPN released their #NFLRank Top 100 yesterday and this morning they announced their top five rosters going into the 2015 season. Factoring in positional value, anonymous surveys from ESPN's NFL team ranked the Broncos the third-best roster this season.
Led by wide receiver Demaryius Thomas' No. 18 ranking on the individual ranking list, the Broncos notched five players on the top-100 list: Thomas (No. 18), QB Peyton Manning (No. 19), OLB Von Miller (No. 28), CB Chris Harris Jr. (No. 79) and CB Aqib Talib (No. 100).
"There are those who believe Peyton Manning (19th on the list) will retire after the 2015 season -- he contemplated retirement this past offseason -- and that would sincerely alter this team's roster outlook. But for 2015, Denver has some of the critical ingredients for success. It has two cornerbacks (Chris Harris Jr., 79; Aqib Talib, 100) and a pass-rusher (Von Miller, 28) on the list. Factor in some very good players who didn't quite make the cut -- running back C.J. Anderson among them -- and Denver has a roster cut out to succeed again this season, pending Manning's health. That said, the offensive line will be put to the test with three starters with minimal NFL experience."
Denver was led only by Seattle with the No. 1 roster and Green Bay at No. 2. The reigning Super Bowl Champions, New England, and the Colts round out the list at No. 4 and 5, respectively.
Safety David Bruton Jr. posted a picture on Instagram featuring some new books. Bruton founded his own foundation, Bruton's Books, and he obviously does a lot of reading himself. Who else thinks Bruton needs to start a book club?
