The Squeeze: Lynch on Sports Illustrated regional cover

1. Lynch gets a cover

The final stop on 2016 first-round pick Paxton Lynch's whirlwind media tour Friday was a Sports Illustrated photoshoot just outside the Broncos' locker room at UCHealth Training Center.

Here's the before ...

... and here's the after:

Lynch, whose issue is set to hit newsstands this week, is the third Broncos quarterback on the cover of SI since Thanksgiving 2015 and the sixth Broncos player overall since Jan. 1, 2016.

He joins linebacker Von Miller ("Orange Rush," "Broncs Cheer" and "Fashionable 50") and quarterback Peyton Manning ("The Last Tango" and "Face of Franchise").

2. Miller misses on the Mirror Ball

Team #BlondeMiller was one of three couples up for elimination after Week 6 of Dancing With the Stars (when he channeled the King of Pop, Michael Jackson), but Miller and partner Witney Carson made it through to Monday night's episode, where he got to channel another king — THE King — in Elvis Presley.

We think Miller and Carson turned in one of their best performances of the entire season, but it ended up being their last.

Miller won't get to add the DWTS Mirror Ball trophy to his collection.

They received a score of 24 out of 30 from the judges, who also seemed impressed with the routine, but the final elimination, which combines the judges' scores and fan voting online and via phone, sent Miller and Carson packing, along with Kim Fields (Living Single and Facts of Life) and Sasha Farber.

3. Social findings

The Broncos' social-media space was busy Monday, with the players getting back on the field for the first time since winning Super Bowl 50, a back-and-forth Twitter exchange between @Broncos and @RamsNFL and ... Chris Harris Jr. chasing down a corgi.
