A familiar face stopped by quarterback Trevor Siemian's alma mater. Peyton Manning visited Northwestern's football practice facility to speak to the team before posing with Wildcats head coach Pat Fitzgerald.

Monday was a big day for everyone. The Broncos named a starting quarterback and the United States experienced the first full solar eclipse visible in the country since 1979. Our players took a break from the weight room to experience the worldly phenomenon.

- Shipping up to Boston
The NBA made a splash Tuesday when the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a trade that included Isaiah Thomas and several other pieces for Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving. The reaction in the Broncos' locker room was pretty mixed; Celtics fans were ready to get an Irving jersey, whereas others were intrigued by the major Eastern Conference shake-up.
