DENVER — Defensive end Derek Wolfe suffered a hamstring injury in the first quarter against the Rams and is questionable to return, the team announced.
Wolfe, 28, recorded an interception last week against the Jets and came into the game with 15 tackles.
Zach Kerr and Shelby Harris should see increased playing time with Wolfe out.
UPDATE [2:51 p.m. MT]: Wolfe returned to the game early in the second quarter.
UPDATE [3:37 p.m. MT]: Outside linebacker Shane Ray suffered an injury with 18 seconds left in the first half on a play that resulted in a sack by Bradley Chubb. Ray remained down on the field for a few minutes as he was examined by the medical staff before walking off the field under his own power.
Quarterback Case Keenum was evaluated for a concussion late in the first half and was cleared. Backup quarterback Chad Kelly took the final snap of the half, a kneel down.
UPDATE [3:52 p.m. MT]: Ray returned for the first possession of the second half. Keenum returned for the Broncos' first offensive drive.
Backup safety Dymonte Thomas is out for the remainder of the game with a chest injury, the team announced.
UPDATE [3:57 p.m. MT]: Left guard Ron Leary suffered on injury on the first offensive play of the second half for the Broncos. He was helped to the sideline.
Max Garcia replaced Leary.
UPDATE [4:02 p.m. MT]: Leary was ruled out with an ankle injury, per the team.
