Palmer is a second-year wide receiver who competed on Miami’s practice squad for the majority of the 2013 season after playing in five games as a rookie for Indianapolis last year.

He was signed by San Francisco as a college free agent from Northern Illinois University in 2012 after playing in 48 games (20 starts) for the Huskies and totaling 93 receptions for 1,575 yards (16.9 avg.) with 16 touchdowns.

Palmer attended Elkhart (Ind.) Central High School and was born on April 14, 1989.
