BOREN AT A GLANCE:
• A second-year offensive guard who competed on practice squads with Baltimore (2011) and Detroit (2012) the last two seasons.
• Appeared on the Ravens' active roster during the club's 2011 postseason but did not play in any games.

2012: Boren competed with Baltimore during training camp before being waved on Sept. 10...spent the last six weeks of the season on Detroit's practice squad.

2011: Boren, who entered the NFL with Baltimore as a college free agent, spent the regular season of his rookie campaign on the club's practice squad before being elevated to the active roster during the playoffs.

COLLEGE: Boren started 40-of-44 games played during his collegiate career at Ohio State University (2009-10) and the University of Michigan (2006-07)...Became just the third player to compete for both teams in the storied Ohio State-Michigan rivalry...Earned second-team All-America honors as a senior for the Buckeyes and was named the recipient of the Jim Parker Award, given to the team's Outstanding Offensive Lineman...Earned honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference recognition after his sophomore year at Michigan as he started all 13 games for the Wolverines--the first eight at center and the final five at left guard...Played five games (1 start) in his first year with the Wolverines to become just the fourth true freshman in school history to start along the offensive line.

PERSONAL: Boren attended Pickerington North (Ohio) High School, where he earned all-state recognition and was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl...His father and mother competed in football and track, respectively, at Michigan...Justin Boren was born on April 28, 1988, in Pickerington, Ohio.
