2012: Opened all 11 games at defensive end as a senior in 2012 and earned second-team All-Big East Conference honors after finishing with a team-high five sacks (27 yds.) to go along with 42 tackles (28 solo), one pass defensed and one forced fumble.

2011: Saw action in all 13 games (7 starts) as a defensive tackle in his first season at Temple in 2011 and contributed 18 tackles (10 solo), one sack (7 yds.), two passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

2010: Pinched a nerve in the C3 vertebra during 2010 spring drills and missed the season due to injury before transferring to Temple.

2009: Appeared in all 13 games for Marshall in 2009 and totaled 13 tackles (4
solo), 2.5 sacks (13 yds.) and two passes defensed.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Klein High School in Houston, where he collected
77 tackles and nine sacks as a senior to earn third-team all-state honors.

PERSONAL: Older brother, Ashton Youboty, played cornerback for six seasons in the NFL with Buffalo (2006-10) and Jacksonville (2011) after his collegiate career at Ohio State. Majored in history at Temple. John S. Youboty (pronounced you-BOAT-ee) was born on Feb. 25,
1990, in Philadelphia.
